With fear in Montreal at a heightened pitch, Stephen Harper has gotten tough on crime! Murder, drug trafficking, kidnappings, gang-bangings are on the rise- and now, the High Ho’s are invading the city! And they’re particularly horny for the Jews amongst us!!



Are cemeteries the realm of ghosts and scary stories, or of hope, memories and old communities? What happens when we gather at a Jewish gravesite to mourn, pray or reflect? This tour and writing workshop will explore the creation of Jewish spaces in the cemetery.



Artist Melissa Shiff gives an audio tour of the Medium is the Matzo, an installation she’s putting up in Montreal made of 5000+ pieces of matzo. And, legendary Passover activist pioneer, Rabbi Arthur Waskow, talks about the Freedom Seder of 1969 on the one year anniversary of the assassination of MLK Jr.



Catherine Dajczman is half-Jewish and half-Catholic. One parent was born in Poland and the other in a rural Québécois village with 10 brothers and sisters. These two rich histories are the meeting point and driving force behind Dajczman’s one woman show Passages.
