This past December, over 80 people gathered in an art gallery in Montreal’s Mile End for SNIP: a live panel discussion on the subject of circumcision. This multi-media event asked: What happens when a rabbi, an anthropologist and an artist get together to talk foreskins.
This audio is SNIP Part 2: The Audience Weighs In. Some very poignant questions were asked. If you haven’t already, take a listen to SNIP Part 1 for some context. This is the discussion that ensued with Rabbi Mark Fishman, feminist artist Melissa Shiff, anthropologist of sexuality Professor Joseph Levy, and the fine members of the audience.
