Friends of Hutchison is the very first community group in which Hasidim and non-Hasidim neighbours get together. The group was formed last summer in the midst of (ongoing) neighbourhood conflict and harassement. They have participated in a number of community events, and now are hosting their very own!
Friends of Hutchison is inviting friends and neighbours to their first public get-together. There will be refreshments, a kids’ play corner, speakers, and a Q&A.
Sounds simple? Think again! Given the controversy and conflict in Outremont this past decade, who would imagine such an event could be so ground-breaking?
