Lactation Station is an installation by Toronto-based performance artist Jess Dobkin. She’ll tell us why she’s inviting the public to come out and do a breast milk tasting. Similar to a wine tasting but touching on taboos that are bound to make us question why we’re ok with milk from a cow but not from a mom.
Jess Dobkin is Guest Curator of Harbourfront Centre’s HATCH residency program and a Fellow at the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies at the University of Toronto.
Tune in for new music from Leonard Cohen, John Zorn and Matisyahu (post-Hasidic). Plus Gogol Bordello (coming to Montreal!), Shtreiml, and some classic Beastie Boys in honour of Adam Yauch aka MCA.
