The Bibliothèque et Archives Nationale du Québec will present an artistic reading entitled Archives à voix haute – Un siècle de vies à Montréal, 1900-2000.
This unique artistic presentation, performed by actors, will feature the writings of several well-known figures in Montreal’s history. The readings will include a translated selection from the Lea Roback Fonds of the Jewish Public Library Archives; a script concerning the place of women in the workforce post-World War II. Other featured notables will include frère Marie-Victorin and Henri Bourassa.
