Food brings us together; one shared plate can produce countless moments and memories. The ‘Not Without My Nut Grinder’ project aims to collect recipes and kitchen stories from first and second generation immigrants in Montreal in a video series format. This unique and TASTY hands-on cooking workshop is a chance for the project’s interviewees to demonstrate some delicious, traditional Sephardic dishes while telling stories and speaking on themes of identity, tradition, and how they (and their recipes) have adapted as new immigrants.
Not Without my Nutgrinder will cost $25 per participant, and will include the purchase of a chef’s hat and apron from the Institut de Tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec.

There are only 20 spaces available, and is on a first come, first served basis via an RSVP. To RSVP for this event, email your name and contact information to hdvmtl@gmail.com.
