Events | Siach HaSadeh at the Ghetto Shul

Thursday, 26 January, 2012.

Siach HaSadeh is a duo bringing to life beautiful compositions of the early Rebbes of the Chassidic dynasties of Eastern Europe, dveykus niggunim that were and are still often sung in Chassidic communities to achieve a meditative state and closeness to God, as well as piyutim from the great Sepharadic composers of the Middle East. Many of the melodies come from transcriptions made by Yoni Kaston in the active communities, as well as from a book of melodies from his family patrimony in Staszow, Poland made by his great uncle.
