Events | Nozen at Les Escales Improbables

Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9, 10, 11 of September, 2 PM- 6.30 PM

An outdoor show at the Old Port

Nozen is one of many projects from saxophonist Damian Nisenson, at the intersection of contemporary jass, modern music and traditional Jewish music. Combining forces with Steve Raegele on guitar, Nicolas Caloia on contrabass and Pierre Tanguay on drums, he presents us with original melodies inspired by the klezmer and Hassidic traditions, treated in an undeniably contemporary fashion.

As part of Les Escales Improbables Music Festival.

Schedule? Don’t look for it! Les EIM are a free course along the St. Lawrence river: it is up to you to explore the festival from a performance to another.
