Shortwave | a taste of kosher-creole

In light of the recent events in Haiti, I felt now would be the perfect time to highlight a family with a Haitian-Jewish story here in Montreal. Author and Professor Gérard Etienne came to Montreal in 1964 after fleeing Haiti for political reasons.  This week on Shtetl we hear the story of his life with Natania Etienne, publisher, teacher and the daughter of prominent Montreal Rabbi and Rebbetzin Feuerwerker.
Tune in on Friday to meet Natania and get a taste of the Kosher-Creole experience.
