The terrible two’s are here and Shtetl is ready! After two years of being that cute kid with the crazy big cheeks, Shtetl on the Shortwave is now a mature and sophisticated… toddler.This week we’re going to celebrate what was with a “Best of Shtetl” -at least what I can manage to fit into one hour, plus, music by The Barry Sisters, Boogie Balagan, Regina Spektor, Kinky Friedman, Rotfront and a LIVE performance inYiddish by Brona Levy.
Thanks to everyone for listening and especially to the folks who sent birthday wishes and even birthday gelt (Yiddish for dinero)!
